Skin & Beauty

As you will see in the shop, I am much more of a skincare rather than a makeup person. Your skin is something that you should invest time and care in. At the same time, I think it is important not to overdo it. Stick to the basics and most important things: wash, moisturizer, retinol, and sunscreen for years of beautiful skin.

Morning: face wash, vitamin C serum, repair serum, moisturizer, sunscreen

Evening: facewash, rotate between retinal/glycolic acid/nothing, night serum, moisturizer, face spray

For makeup, I like to keep it light and fresh. I tend to use more cream/liquid-based products for a natural and long-lasting look. A bit of concealer to brighten the under eyes, cream contour for definition, a cheek tint or blush to liven you up, and then a swipe of mascara and lip gloss.

My biggest tip is for under-eye concealer: start with a light application of eye cream. Put dots of concealer ONLY in the darkest spots. Too much product causes creasing. Then use a concealer brush to pat it in rather than a sponge, and I always spray mine with beauty elixir first. Then finish with a tad of powder tapped in.

I am by no means a beauty expert, but I like to get all my tips from real people who I find beautiful inside and out. Since I love looking in all my friends cosmetic bags, I thought I might share a peek into mine too.
